FREEDOM FORCE ANIMATION
As part of PEO STRI's quarterly Town Hall meetings, a theme was chosen and DFC developed all the materials to support the meeting around the theme. An opening video was one of the the common requests. For one such meeting, a superhero theme was chosen and I developed an animated short to introduce the theme. The entire 40 second animated short was completed in two weeks, from concept to final render.

My design emulated one of my favorite animated sequences; using the concept and style of the credits from Pixar's The Incredibles, I designed a sequence to highlight PEO STRI. (At the time) PEO STRI consisted of six Product Managers - the organizations responsible for research, development and acquisition of training systems for the soldiers - and each one become it's own superhero character with superhero abilities for the Town Hall. I stylized the character concepts another artist had already completed and came up with ideas on how to highlight those abilities while creatively transitioning from one to the next. The characters and effects were then hand animated, composited and the final video edited to music.
